I apologise for the webcam pictures, which make me look rather pink, I'm about to leave the house and I'm too lazy to set up the big camera. I've been busy up until recently taking photos, and I set up a new blog for my photography here. Follow it and you will be rewarded with full series etc etc. The webcam photos feature a ring (the one on the far left) that I found in H&M and fell in love with, and a fishtail braid (I'm obsessed with fishtails at the moment). Other than that, I'm taking a break from photography to focus more on my work at SÝN Magazine, I'll try to keep posting!

Lily Cole look-alike?! So I have come to the decision that this blog will no longer act in three ways because I'm taking too much on and nothing ever gets done. Instead this will remain more a photography blog and less of a style blog. Although I must mention I styled the above images with some of my English purchases.

First self portrait of 2012. I'm wearing a romwe jumper that you can't see very much of. I got it for christmas and found that it looked nothing like the picture, though luckily I really liked it. I just feel for those who purchased and found that the 'one size' didn't fit them. I'm size small and I'm sure anyone larger wouldn't fit into it. I'm also wearing my new deep red lipstick, but you can't see much of that either. Well, happy new year for the second time, I have big plans that I'm rather excited about.

I think I may be stuck in the colour blocking trend of 2011's summer. Shopping in England is easier but a lot more hectic, it's more of a grab and go thing (unless of course you hit the streets early morning). I bought and received so much in December that I'm concerned about the size of my wardrobe and will therefore be clearing out very soon. Oh, and I was given 'lovehearts' by Santa and found the first most suitable for the start of 2012, 'cheer up'.

The new year is finally here, and with it comes the ideal time for me to refresh everything (cue realisation that all of my previous posts have vanished). I want to start afresh, 2011 was not exactly my favourite year and I'm not sure I want to experience another one like it. So, happy new year, and expect bigger and better in 2012! I'm off to chase the fireworks for the 4th time, I haven't been able to capture them yet.
